"Dance Moms" Stars Chloe & Christi Visit The Performing Arts Connection
Stars Christi and Chloe of Lifetime's hit reality television series, "Dance Moms", spent some time this summer visiting students at The Performing Arts Connection in Sudbury.
Over 60 students in grades 3-12 participated in three separate master classes (August 26 and 27) taught by a guest choreographer from Pittsburgh and assisted by Chloe herself! In addition to learning cutting edge choreography, students were captivated as Chloe demonstrated her signature turns and leaps. Each class was followed by a question and answer session with Christi and Chloe and an autograph/photo session.
During the master classes on Sunday and Monday evening a down-to-earth Christi mingled with excited parents who were thrilled to learn more about her experience on "Dance Moms" and with infamous teacher, Abby Lee Miller.
TPAC director, Samantha Bower, caught up with Christi on Twitter and was able to book the famous duo much to the delight of her students and to many other young dancers who were new to TPAC.
"This was an exciting opportunity for my students and my studio. The instructor that came with Chloe and Christi was hip and fresh and she really honed in on technique, giving all students individual feedback as they danced. Christi was so friendly and informative and was great with the parents. Chloe was quiet and sweet, just like on TV. Everybody walked away a little star struck and with an autograph in hand. It was the perfect way to start a new dance season!"
