The Sudbury tradition returns on Saturday, Nov. 5, when HOPEsudbury hosts its 10th Telethon & Auction.

The Telethon & Auction is a 10-hour live broadcast on Sudbury TV (Comcast 8, Fios 31) featuring entertainment by local performers, and an on-air auction with more than 170 great auction items generously donated by area businesses and individuals.  The telethon is aired  from noon to 10PM atLincoln-Sudbury High School.  All our welcome to come down down and enjoy the show. 

Think Channel 2 or Jerry Lewis, only local…

• Sudbury friends and neighbors performing live.
• Hundreds of volunteers sharing their time and talents to make the event possible.
• Local businesses and services promoted to everyone in town.
• The whole community working together to benefit the HOPEsudbury Community Assistance Fund (The HOPE Fund) and other charitable causes, both at home and abroad.

To get the most out of this year's Telethon, be sure to pick up a Telethon Guide this week at the Goodnow Library, Sudbury Farms and other businesses around town or download the Guide at HOPEsudbdury.org which features a list of the performers and descriptions fabulous items up for auction. You can also see the auction items on Comcast 9/Verizon 32 beginning on Friday, November 4 and continuing throughout the day on November 5.

Cow Patty Bingo is coming to Sudbury in conjunction with the 2011 HOPEsudbury Telethon & Auction! 

It's easy to join in the fun. Just purchase a numbered BINGO block — $20 each at the Sudbury Farms courtesy booth — through Nov. 4 (or until the 300 blocks are sold out).

If our cow "HOPE" drops her first "patty" on your square as she mooooves across the gridded field, you can "pile" up the cash ... up to $3,000. A drawing will be held to determine the winner if "HOPE" doesn't do her thing by 3 p.m.

It's all for a good cause ... to benefit The HOPE Fund and other HOPEsudbury charitable causes.
