Transform Snowflakes into Valentines for the Troops
Please join HOPEsudbury in Transforming Snowflakes into Valentines!
When: Tuesday, January 15 from 9 - 11 am & 2:30 - 4:30 pm
Where: The Grange Hall (326 Concord Rd / Next to Sudbury Town Hall)
HOPEsudbury extends many thanks to so many who made snowflakes to decorate the Sandy Hook students' new school. Hundreds were donated, each one more amazing than the next.
However, Newtown has been inundated with snowflakes from all over the world and they're asking that we not send any more.
A photo will be taken of the snowflakes and will be sent with the cards that were collected to Newtown.
Then, with the community’s help on Tuesday January 15, we'll transform the Snowflakes into heartwarming Valentines.
Some of the Valentines will be sent to Sandy Hook staff and first responders and the rest will go to our servicemen and women in Afghanistan through the Hugs for Soliders program. We'll also be collecting finger and toe warmers to send to the troops
Bring your friends and your good will. HOPEsudbury will provide the construction paper, markers, stickers, etc... along with some refreshments. Adults, kids, teens, seniors....all are invited to take part. We'd like our entire community to be represented.
We HOPE to see you on January 15! Walk-ins are welcome but if you know you are going to stop by, please drop us an email at contact@hopesudbury.org so we can plan accordingly.
