Caitlin Conlon (Sudbury, Mass.) established a presence for the Williams College women's hockey team's defense as the Ephs won their first road game, 2-0, over Wesleyan.

The Holy Cross women's hockey team defeated Nichols, 6-1, on Saturday. Freshman Kati Goguen (Acton, Mass.) scored her second career in the Crusaders' victory.

Villanova men swimming and diving posted four fourth-place finishes in the first five events of the Frank Elm Invite Friday night in Piscataway. Ben Smith (Sudbury, Mass.) got his fourth-place finish in the 200 individual medley as he crossed the finish line in 1:55.50.

The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team cruised to a 6-2 win against nationally-ranked No. 16 St. Lawrence. Dan Federico (Acton, Mass.) had two assists in the win.

The Suffolk University Women's Basketball team fell in the championship game to host Ramapo College, 60-58 on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Iliana Quadri (Sudbury, Mass.) also chipped in with 13 points in the loss for the Rams.

The Bowdoin College men's basketball team picked up its first win of the 2012-13 campaign in a 72-63 win over Western New England in the third-place game of the Eastern Connecticut State Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore center John Swords (Sudbury, Mass.) scored 12 points with 7 rebounds off the bench in the win.
