Playing in their 2013 season opener and their first of several games against nationally ranked opponents, the Endicott men's lacrosse team faltered against the #7 ranked Stevens Ducks 21-9 on the road to fall to 0-1 overall on the season. Andrea Keklak (Sudbury, Mass.) finished sixth (2:11.28) for Georgetown in the 800 meters during the BIG EAST Championship meet.
The Suffolk University Women's Basketball topped the Emerson College Lions 62-54 in the quarterfinal round of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament. Sophomore Iliana Quadri (Sudbury, Mass.) scored seven points, had six rebounds and a team-high four steals.
The Tufts men's basketball team out-scored Bowdoin College 21-4 over the final eight minutes to earn an 82-71 victory over the Polar Bears in the quarterfinal round of the NESCAC Championship on Saturday at Cousens Gym. Scott Anderson (Sudbury, Mass.) had 20 points and 9 rebounds in the win.
Lesley outscored Southern Vermont College 40-28 in the second half to overcome a three-point deficit at halftime on their way to a 62-53 win in the season finale. Anthea Rathjens (Sudbury, Mass.) had 3 points and 5 rebounds in the win.
The Endicott men's volleyball team remained unbeaten in NECC play with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-13, 25-20) victory over Newbury. Sophomore libero Kristian Catalan (Sudbury, Mass.) contributed with five digs.
