An Egg Hunt, Fiddle Concert and Book Sale (March 30-April 1)
Eggs and bunnies, books and baked goods, fiddles and guitars.
When/Where: Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sunday from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Goodnow Library, 21 Concord Rd, Sudbury.
Why Go: This twice yearly event raises funds for the library and offers shoppers the chance to score a "new" book and some baked goods for a good cause.
When/Where: Sunday at 3 p.m. at The Loker School, 47 Loker Street, Wayland.
Why Go: All the fun of an egg hunt for the kids, none of the work of hiding them for adults. The eggs will be stuffed with goodies, and the hunt will be divided by age group. Children who are walking through 6 years old are invited.
When/Where: Saturday at 10 a.m. at Hannah Williams Playground, 71 Main Street, Wayland.
Why Go: This popular playground has been closed for the past 10 months while it underwent a renovation that involved all new playground equipment. The ribbon-cutting Saturday will give kids a chance to test out the new equipment and there will be light refreshments for the parents.
When/Where: Saturday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at The Happy Chocolatier, 509 Nagog Park, Acton.
Why Go: Bunnies and chocolate ... it's a combination as old as time. OK, maybe not that old, but still a classic combo. Stop by (with your camera) and enter to win a four-pound choclate bunny.
When/Where: Sunday at 3 p.m. at Weston Public Library, 87 School Street, Weston.
Why Go: Champion fiddler Robin Warren and guitarist Brian Clancey will perform Southern and Texas waltzes, bluegrass and swing.
