Did Selectman Bob Haarde catch John Drobinski in a lie? [VIDEO]

Drobinski said during Tuesday's meeting he never argued against high-density housing development for the Melone property. Minutes from Jan. 30, 2007, Page 10, paragraph 3, show otherwise.

I wouldn't say it was a lie, I would say it was another "misremembering". This is not uncommon, just like when he "misrememered" the "tradition" of the third year Selectman is the chair person.

It would seem to me that one way of responsibly fulfilling the role of Selectman would be to study the different agenda items of the upcoming meetings so that consistency and professionalism is maintained. The post of Selectman requires this type of approach so that time is not wasted researching past positions and/or decisions after the fact.

The hypocrisy with Mr. Drobinski continues.
