Small businesses focusing on local products. Cafe's/restaurants using local organic and sustainable foods are missing in this area!

I would love to see a bakery/tea room. Also a craft/fabric/sewing store that had classes.

A nice family diner or a fun sports bar.

Please tell me that you truelly think that everyone goes to a sports bar to "get tanked up till 2am, drive into an island and get cited for DUI!" Move on Sudbury Citizen!

No kidding. I have never had an OUI and always drink responsibly. Last time I checked prohibition is over. Not sure what the harm is in wanting a cool sports bar in town. Something like the Horse Shoe Pub in Hudson.

I think a family style diner would be great- we need something new- A small convienience store would be great- someplace you could grab a gallon of milk without having to go near Rt 20.

Ice cream (Think JP Licks or Toscanini, not friendlys or dairy queen.) and a good bagel shop.

I think a bakery / tea room would be great!! We need a good bakery in town ( gluten free items would be appreciated ). A Nice space to hang out and have tea with friends is sorely missing!!

Please no chain restaurants. Please! I beg you. :-)

Here ar the must have's, in my opinion:
- A good locally owned coffee shop. Would be nice for the north sudbury folks to get a coffee and breakfast sandwich without driving 15 minutes each way.
- A small mart to get milk, bread, etc.
- a hardware store like Ace Hardware - driving 20 minutes is a pain for a small item
- a butcher/deli/sub shop that actually serves good subs and boars head meats, and maybe some good cuts, etc.

Nice to have:
- Breakfast diner
- a liquor mart - beer wine ,etc.
- Ice cream place

A "Gentlemen's Club." ;)

What are you all thinking? That space has never been successful. Entry and exit are terrible. Furthermore, there is a hardware store, Town Line just in Wayland. The local one failed. The convenience store failed, so to Wayland. Sudbury Coffee Works is a great place, less than a minute drive from Rte 27. I wish the developers luck, but offices, child care, child art, art gallery, craft import bistro with loud jazz have all closed there.

Ok well- Myself I have been here for 45 yrs- my family& my husbands 87 yrs- I try to look on the positive> They have now made the center neighbor friendly & vehicle friendly. No one on this side of town wants to go near Rt 20.
I am well aware of the performance of that location- sad! All it takes is good stores and proper marketing- ! What was there was gross restaurants - heavy drug use- and useless art stores!

It would be great to have an independent bookstore and a reasonably-priced home store, and perhaps an upscale consignment shop.

Agree on cafe, bagel shop, quality ice cream/frozen yogurt shop, and locally produced food shop (maybe fresh produce grown here too), but also would like to see a permanent gallery for the Sudbury Art Association, a seafood/fish market, a Vietnamese restaurant, a gastropub, a casual teen clothing store, a music store (maybe Spencer Brooks Strings could move in), a movie theater, and a gift shop that can replace both Choices and the soon-to-be-closed Marjorie's.

A bakery and perhaps our own bagel shop is sorely needed! Supermarket bakeries are awful. It's a shame we have to travel to neighboring towns to get something as simple as a great tasting french baguette!

A bakery that sells the same kind of goodies as the one in Marlboro (next to Steven Anthony's) AND real bagels, croissants, etc. and coffee, tea, etc.

and/or

A breakfast/lunch diner like CJ's Northside Grill at Nobscot would be nice. No frills breakfasts and great lunch food.

A Medical Marijuana dispensary!
