Father Flips Car During Test Drive With Kids Inside
The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A test drive of a Land Rover on Sunday in the open field near The Wayside Inn resulted in an accident the Sudbury Police Department is still investigating.
According to Lt. Scott Nix, a Leominster man was taking a pre-arranged test drive with his three kids in the backseat and the salesman in the passenger side when the vehicle flipped on its side.
By the time emergency personnel arrived, the car was back on its wheels.
The driver told officers who arrived on the scene that he lost control while doing "doughnuts."
Members of the Sudbury Fire Department checked out all of the occupants, who all refused medical transport, Nix said.
As a result of the crash, Sudbury police have filed a 51A report with the Department of Children and Families. All three kids are younger than 10 years old, Nix said.
The case is under investigation for possible future charges.
In other police news from this weekend:

- A Canterbury Drive resident reported his banking and personal information had been compromised. The bank was notified of the fraudulent charges and the social security administration was also contacted.
- A Hudson Road resident reported street signs had been removed. The Department of Public Works was notified.
- A motorist struck a pole on Boston Post Road on Saturday and sustained minor injuries. The driver refused medical transport and the car was towed from the scene.

what a bonehead. He was doing "donuts?" with the Land Rover with his kids inside the vehicle? That's real intelligent. What a moron. First, the father is stupid is as stupid goes. And next, the salesman is another bonehead for allowing it to happen - double stupid is as stupid goes. I hope those poor children are OK. This father is a prime example of a parent who should be neutered for the sheer idiocy of his actions and never again allowed to reproduce to prevent passing of his "stupid" genes to any future offspring.

Wow - when I go to a dealership, they insist on coming with me, won't let me go over the speed limit, or take it onto side streets - I need to shop for a LR ;-)

Did he buy the car? I am sure the kids had a story to tell at school. I am sure the salesperson has quite a story as well. There really is no intelligent life form on this planet. What were you thinking??

A day in Sudbury Life:
He blew his mind out in a car
he hadn't noticed that the light had changed
a crowd of people stood and stared
nobody was really sure if he was from the house of Lavender's
I love to turn you onnnnnnnnnn
