2. SCULPTURE WORKSHOPS FOR TEENS: CAI is pleased to introduce a series of workshop for teens focusing on specific sculptural technique and materials. Students will study abstract sculpture during the first week, and figurative sculpture during the second week. The third week workshops will focus on Nezuke, mini sculpture carving with Chinese stone. During week four, the students will concentrate on Chinese Seal carving. The class will start with the introduction to Chinese calligraphy with Chinese brush and ink on rice paper. This will conclude a connection between the Nezuke and Chinese Seal carving. 3. ZUMBA FOR SENIORS: Get into the groove with Zumba. Instructor Susan Craver keeps the music and students (safely) jumping. Drop-in $4/class. Class begins at 12:30 p.m. Call the Senior Center for information at 978-443-3055.
4. WHAT TO CELEBRATE TODAY: Today is Lame Duck Day. Lame Duck Day is set aside to give recognition to people whose tenure in a position is running out. If you are a Lame Duck, enjoy those final days. Reflect upon you successes, and the joys and rewards the position provided to you. Kick back a little and have some fun today, and in the remaining days.
