Hopedale Woman Faces Charges After Accident

A two-car accident on Boston Post Road on Wednesday led to the arrest of a Hopedale resident.

According to the Sudbury Police Department, Cathleen A. Sether, 39, of 4 Mellen St., was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and following too close.

The accident occurred around 5:31 p.m.

Sether was released at 10:44 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Sudbury police responded to four other accidents on Wednesday:

  • 5:37 a.m., Hudson Road, one car, motorist struck a deer, no injuries
  • 10:07 a.m., Boston Post Road, two cars, no injuries
  • 11:52 a.m., Concord Road, one car, no injuries
  • 4:06 p.m., Boston Post Road, two cars, no injuries.

According to Sudbury police, none of the accidents were caused by Wednesday's snowfall.

Sudbury police also responded to a call about a possible theft. According to Lt. Scott Nix, a person came forward claiming a watch may have been stolen either at the person's home or Bosse Sports. No other information was available.
