The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Residents at a Belcher Drive residence returned home in the overnight hours Sunday morning to find their house ransacked and numerous items missing.
According to Lt. Scott Nix, officers responded to the home at about 3 a.m. The residents had been gone since 11 a.m., Saturday.
"Detectives were called to process the scene. There were no obvious signs of forced entry," Nix said, "but one door had been left unsecured."
Among the items reported stolen were:
- Computer equipment
- Bose headphones
Nix said the estimated value of the reported items was in excess of $6,000.
The case remains under investigation.
