Hudson Man Nabbed After Fleeing Domestic Scene in Sudbury
The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A call to the Sudbury Police Department early Friday morning resulted in an arrest of a Hudson man.
According to Lt. Robert Grady, the department received a call from a female at about 3:02 a.m. from the Longfellow Glen apartment complex on Boston Post Road regarding a domestic disturbance.
Officers responded to the scene and took a report from the female, but the suspect wanted in regards to the disturbance had fled, Grady said.
The suspect, later identified as Rolando Velazquez, 31, of 17 Park St., fled into Hudson.
"Hudson police were monitoring the scene through their scanners and took the suspect into custody while he was in Hudson," Grady said.
During the investigation it was learned Velazquez had been issued a no trespassing order within the past year from the management of Longfellow Glen.
Along with the trespassing charge, Velazquez was also arrested on a domestic assault and battery charge.
It was later learned Velazquez had a warrant from the Marlborough Police Department for various charges:
- Intimidating a witness
- Driving with a suspended license
- Failure to stop for a police officer
- Failure to stop at a stop sign
- Operating a motor vehicle with an open container of alcohol.
Velazquez was transported to Framingham District Court to face the charges from Sudbury police later Friday morning.
Grady said he would then be transported to Marlborough District Court to face the other charges.
