The eighth Science Expo at Israel Loring Elementary School was held on March 2  in the school's dining room (Grades K-2) and in the gymnasium (Grades 3-5).

Students in grades K through five voluntarily developed and conducted their own science experiments to share with classmates, teachers, families and friends. This year, "guest scientists" stopped by each project booth to ask the students questions about their respective projects to initiate conversation and give the students an opportunity to share discoveries and results of their experiments.

Above are photos of the event.

I was one of the guest scientists at the Loring Science Expo and the kids I interviewed were thrilled to have someone (in a lab coat no less!) ask them questions about their project. The students I talked to were very engaging, knowledgeable and eager to demonstrate their respective experiments. Thanks to Renata Pomponi and everyone else who made the Loring Science Expo a great success!!!!
