Marlborough Man Nabbed on Suspended License Charge in Sudbury
The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A motor vehicle stop Monday afternoon by the Sudbury Police Department resulted in the arrest of a Marlborough man.
At about 4:55 p.m., an officer on patrol on Peakham Road witnessed a car speeding.
After pulling over the car and completing an investigation, the officer arrested Erick Welmar Pastor-Barrios, 22, of 104 Pleasant St., and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding.
Pastor-Barrios was released at 8:54 p.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Tuesday.
In other police news from Monday:
- An attempted larceny was reported on Old Lancaster Road at about 8:51 a.m. According to Lt. Robert Grady, someone attempted to allegedly steal scrap metal from a job site. The car fled the scene before officers arrived. The investigation is ongoing.
- Residents on Meadowbrook Circle and Boston Post Road reported hearing coyotes during the morning hours.
