UPDATED: MCAS Testing Delayed at SPS, Lincoln-Sudbury
Inclement weather has caused delays in testing.
UPDATED: 12:40 P.M.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, MCAS English Language Arts tests have been postponed to Monday, March 25.
The DESE made the announcement due to pending inclement weather. The tests were to be held on Tuesday, March 19.
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School confirmed it is delaying its testing. Sudbury Public Schools sent an email to parents alerting of the delay.
"We realize that this change may be disruptive for some schools, but for security reasons it is critical that all schools administer the ELA Composition on the same day. Even schools that are unaffected by the storm must wait until Monday, March 25, to administer the test," the DESE wrote on its website.
