Paws in the Park a Barking Success

Dogs and their humans gather at the Wayside Inn parade ground for fun and games.

This Sunday at the parade grounds at Paws in the Park, scores of dogs of all kinds gathered with their owners to meet, play games, snack, splash in pools, and to raise funds for homeless pets.

The gathering encompassed the entire parade grounds which were surrounded by nearly sixty vendor and dog rescue displays.

Held annually, Paws in the Park is organized by Save a Dog, a humane society based in Sudbury. According to their web site, Save A Dog's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find adoptable homes for abandoned dogs.
