PHOTOS: L-S Football Team Rallies Past Tewksbury, 15-12
The Warriors shake off a sluggish start to win on opening weekend.
The Lincoln-Sudbury line gradually wore down its counterparts from Tewksbury and the Warriors rallied from an early 12-0 deficit to post a 15-12 non-league road win on Saturday.
Chris Giorgio plowed in from 2 yards out with just 1:30 left in the fourth quarter to give the Warriors the win.
After Tewksbury had scored their second touchdown of the first half to take a 12-0 lead, Joe Kenney intercepted the attempted two-point conversion pass and returned it 95 yards for L-S's first two points of the season.
The Warriors cut the deficit to 12-9 with a touchdown pass from quarterback Henry Guild to Malik Lane on fourth and goal.
