Sudbury Teen Faces Drug Charge in Westborough

The following arrest information was supplied by the Westborough Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A search of a suspicious vehicle at Lake Chauncy in Westborough led to the arrest of four people, including a Sudbury man, Monday evening. Three adults and a juvenile will appear in court on drug related charges.

According to a press release from the Westborough Police Department, Officer Greg McRae investigated a 1999 Honda parked at the boat ramp of the lake just after 6:30 p.m. There were three men and a woman inside the car.

The operator of the car was Michael Bougoulas, 19, of 29 Hampsire St. in Sudbury. While McRae was speaking with Bougoulas, he reportedly noted a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the car. He also reported that the others in the car were attempting to conceal items.

A search followed and revealed a large amount of marijuana in individual baggies along with a scale. A pipe for smoking marijuana was also found in the car. Bougoulas was found to be carrying over $400 in cash.

The four were arrested and charged with possession of class D marijuana with intent to distribute. Those arrested are:

  • Olivia Wise, 17, of 121 Weston Road, Lincoln
  • Lucas B. Houghton, 21, of 4 Jacob Amsden Road, Westborough
  • Michael Bougoulas, 19, of Hampsire St., Sudbury
  • 15-year-old male juvenile from Westborough

The juvenile was released to his parents for his appearance in Worcester Juvenile Court. The others were bailed for their appearance in Westborough District Court this morning.
