The Sudbury Police Department is currently searching for a person in connection with a drug deal that turned into an armed robbery on Saturday at a Bent Road residence.
According to Lt. Scott Nix, the department received a call about a gun being brandished at the home. The call came from a victim in the home. After officers arrived at the home to verify the well-being of those in the house, it was determined two male victims arrived with the intent of conducting a drug deal.
"Proceeding to the rear of the residence (the victims) were greeted by several subjects," Nix said. "The contraband was conveyed to the recipients but instead of receiving payment a handgun was pulled with the two victims ordered to have a seat while being threatened with the handgun."
Nix said one person complied and the other fled to his vehicle. He was chased as he was running to his vehicle with one of the pursuers smashing a car window as he drove from the area.
"The remaining victim was eventually able to flee the area as well," Nix said.
There were no injuries reported during the incident. As a result of the investigation, the following arrests were made as of Tuesday morning:
Zachary Gross (17), 88 Pine Point Road, Stow; charged with:
- Assault with a dangerous weapon (handgun)
- Armed robbery

16-year-old male from Sudbury; charged with:

"One subject remains outstanding and the investigation continues while assessing whether further charges are warranted," said Nix, who added the missing person is a juvenile.
Police are still searching for the gun used in the crime. The drugs at the scene are not being revealed at this time as the case is still under investigation.

My heart aches for their parents. These kids are so young & impulsive. Its scary to think a child can derail their life like this with 1 bad decision. I wish them all healing and peace.
