Sudbury Police Cite Third L-S Student for Pot Since Friday
The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A Lincoln-Sudbury staff member on parking lot patrol Tuesday afternoon reported to the Sudbury Police Department smelling freshly burnt marijuana coming from a car with a window partially open.
According to Lt. Scott Nix, school officials had to locate the student who owned the car because at the time of the discovery the car was empty.
After locating the student, school officials conducted a search of the car under their authority, Nix said. During the search, several items, including a small amount of marijuana, was found.
