Sudbury Police Make Double Drug Arrest on Friday

The following arrest information was obtained by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Friday afternoon ended with two arrests.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, the officer on patrol witnessed the driver violating a town motor vehicle by-law and pulled the car over at about 1:19 p.m. on Boston Post Road.

After completing an investigation, the driver, Kelli M. Shay, 21, of 7 Boston Post Road East, in Marlborough, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a class E drug (gabapentin)
  • Marked lanes violation
  • Motor vehicle by-law violation.

Also arrested was her passenger, James Anthony Rouse, 20, of 21 South Road, in Sturbridge. He was also charged with possession of gabapentin.

Both were held over the weekend on $300 cash bail. They were arraigned today at Framingham District Court.
