Sudbury Teen Faces Drug Distribution Charge

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Thanks to the efforts by a U.S. Fish and Wildlife officer, a Sudbury teenager is facing a drug charge.

According to Sudbury Police Lt. Scott Nix, the department assisted the officer with a courtesy booking in cooperation with a mutual aid agreement between the two parties.

Eric Samuel Gandrup, 19, of 74 Woodmere Dr., is charged with possession of a class D drug (marijuana) with intent to distribute.

Nix did not have any other information on the case.

In other police news from Monday:

  • An officer responded to Maynard Road after reports of suspicious people walking the neighborhood. According to Nix, two people found were solicitors. One had a license to solicit. The other was advised to register.
  • A Longfellow Glen resident reported a group of people being loud at night. The responding officer advised the group to quiet down. The group complied.
  • A Webster Road resident reported a car in the neighborhood playing loud music. The car was gone by the time the responding officer arrived.
