UPDATE: 2 L-S Wrestlers Grappled with Bombing Suspect on the Run

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev faced Nick Murphy and Harry Greenhouse in 2010.

the so-called Suspect No. 2 in the Boston Marathon bombings, Sudbury Patch has learned two Lincoln-Sudbury wrestlers grappled with the now wanted 19-year-old.

"I'm one of the L-S wrestling coaches - both Nick Murphy and Harry Greenhouse (LS Class of 2011) wrestled against Tsamaev in 2010," L-S wrestling coach Joel Mode emailed. "Harry in a dual meet against Cambridge R&L and Nick in the Sectional Tourament."

According to Facebook reports, Murphy pinned Tsarnaev in 1:45.

"I'm completely blown away that I remember coaching against Tsarnaev," Mode wrote on his Facebook page. "Just checked my records and both Harry Greenhouse and Nick Murphy wrestled him in the 2010 season."

A former Milford High wrestler is getting press for having defeated Tsarnaev in at least two wrestling matches.

Specifically, a tournament held in Framingham in December 2010 is being referenced. The tournament drew wrestlers from across the region, including Lincoln-Sudbury.

"This is the legend that took down the terrorist TWICE in the wrestling ring," reads a tweet with Milford High graduate Andy Gleeson's photo.

Brackets on MassWrestling.com show that Gleeson faced and defeated Tsarnaev in a December 2010 tournament held in Framingham

Both were in the 135 weight class. Also in the same weight class were wrestlers from Lincoln-Sudbury, Framingham and Marlborough: though only Gleeson was shown as having faced Tsarnaev.

Tsarnaev wrestled for Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, where he was named Student Athlete of the Month in February 2011.

Gleeson graduated from Milford High in 2011; he wrestled Tsarnaev in his senior year, when he was a captain of the team.
