Tewksbury Man Arrested in Sudbury on Felony Warrant

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Tewksbury man who had two warrants our for his arrest was taken into custody by the Sudbury Police Department earlier on Thursday.

According to Lt. Scott Nix, the department received information from another police station that Robert Gorski, 20, of 140 Vernon St., was wanted for questioning regarding another crime.

Sudbury officers were dispatched to 655 Boston Post Road, Apt. 1111, to look for Gorski, who had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.

"(Upon) arriving at the apartment, officers could hear music playing, and then (it) was turned off," Nix said in a press release. "But the occupants refused to answer to our continued attempts for them to answer the door."

As officers continued to monitor the apartment, a person matching the description of Gorski peered out a window at officers, but still refused to answer the door. Officers then obtained a search warrant from Framingham District Court to enter the apartment.

Once inside, officers located Gorski and took him into custody without incident on the two warrants — one a felony and one a misdemeanor — out of Woburn District Court related to charges from Wilmington for larceny less than $250 and larceny more than $250. Both are default warrants.

"It remains under investigation whether the female lessee will be charged," Nix said in the release.

Gorski was booked and transported to Framingham District Court for arraignment.

No other information was available.

In January, Gorski was arrested in Sudbury on a warrant from Tewksbury for charges of:

  • Breaking and entering of a building in the night time for a felony
  • Receiving stolen property
  • Destruction of property
  • Conspiracy.
