Back to School Bash Teen Center Opening Night

Where/When: For seventh- and eighth-grade Sudbury students on Friday from 7:30 - 10 p.m., Atkinson Pool/Fairbank Community Center.

Why Go: Live DJ, arcade games and Foosball.

Pricing: $10 with ID, $8 without.

Charlie Cox Runs With Scissors 

Where/When: Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at ArtSpace, 63 Summer St., Maynard.

Why go: A "romantic comedy fantasy" starring these characters: Death, Love, Charlie, and the Love of Charlie's Life.

Pricing: Adult $17 Senior/Student $15

A Taste of Greece Food Festival

Where/When: St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7 Meriam St., Lexington

Why go: Gyro stations - new this year. Folk dances, activities for children and more.

Pricing: Free admission

Family Fun Saturdays: Cacao (Chocolate) Clues Discovery Room 

Where/When: Saturday, noon - 4 p.m. at The Peabody Museum, 11 Divinity Ave., Cambridge

Why go: Learn about cacao's role in history, touch real cacao pods & beans, and take away cacao craft projects to do at home.

Pricing: Free with museum admission: Adults $9, Senior citizens $7, Children (3-18 years old): $6, Children younger than 3: Free 

Harvard Fall Festival

Where/When: Friday 5 - 10p.m., Saturday 10 - 10:30 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at 150 Ayer Road, Harvard.

Why go: A great time for everyone in the family. Games, bouncy castles, barbecue, live music, craft fair, bingo, battle of the bands, car show and fireworks.

Pricing: All proceeds benefit charity. Prices vary based on date and time - $5 - $15 per person.
