Vandals Strike New TD Bank Branch
The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
The new TD Bank branch on Boston Post Road, which is still under construction, was vandalized some time Sunday night or early Monday morning.
According to Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady, there was visible damage inside the building, as ceiling tiles were pulled down. The vandals also spray painted an expletive with black spray paint.
Grady said nothing was taken from the building.
The case is under investigation.
In other police from Monday:
- A Willard Grant Road resident reported security cameras on her property were damaged. Despite the act of vandalism, she did not allow officers to investigate.
- A motorist backed into a mailbox on Plympton Road and left the scene without reporting it.
- Two callers reported a car fire at 5:25 p.m. on Northwood Drive. Emergency responders said the fire was in the engine of the 2006 Ford Mustang. There were no injuries and the fire was not deemed suspicious.
