Weekend Happenings: Drama, Superheroes and Quilts
A variety of options are on tap for this weekend.
When/Where: Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Regis College of Fine Arts, 235 Wellesley St., Weston.
The Buzz: 50 years of alumni will come back together for a special time of song and dance on-stage as they relive their past experiences together. This is a one night only event.
When/Where: Ongoing at Clever Hand Gallery, 52 Central Street, Wellesley.
The Buzz: Sure it's an art gallery, but who can pass up sparkly glass leaves dangling from trees. This is a swing-by-and-check-it-out on your way to grab ice cream or lunch.
When/Where: Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon at Goodnow Library, 21 Concord Road, Sudbury.
The Buzz: We're declaring it Batman weekend (yes, that's unofficial, but it seems fitting given the release of "The Dark Knight Rises.") Anyway, Goodnow Library seems to get the idea. Kids can stop by and pick up coloring sheets of their favorite superheroes.
When/Where: Sunday from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at Jones Tavern, 128 Main St, Acton.
The Buzz: Stop by the tavern to check out an exhibition of antique quilts, bed clothes from the Ironwork Farm collection, and quilting demonstrations by Mothertown Quilters. This is your chance to catch a glimpse of the "upstairs."
