What's Going On: Announcements You May Have Missed
A smattering of local news from this past week.
At the Special Town Meeting on September 24, 2012, the Town of Sudbury voted in favor of the Nixon School Roof Replacement/Repair Project that will replace the older portion of the roof (which is more than 20 years old) and make necessary repairs to the newer portion.
Exactly how would Sudbury go about checking assets for seniors applying for senior tax relief? We're voting on this Dec. 4, and I still don't have a fix on how the means testing will work.
MassBay Community College is proud to announce a Veterans Back to School Information Session scheduled for Thursday December 6th at 5:30 pm on the Wellesley Hills campus, 50 Oakland Street. As a state institution, veterans can often attend MassBay free of charge.
Last week, close to 100 people gathered in Parmenter’s Dora Efthim Healing Garden for this annual memorial service. The Lights of Remembrance Service allows all to join together to remember a loved one.
