CranioSacral Therapy Addresses a Full Spectrum of Illnesses and Disorders

CranioSacral Therapy is a subtle form of bodywork that is used to detect and correct imbalances in the craniosacral system.  The craniosacral system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.  It extends from the bones of the skull, face and mouth down to the sacrum/tailbone area.

CranioSacral therapists hold the belief that the body has an Inner Wisdom, or Inner Physician that knows what it needs to heal and the pace at which the healing must occur.  The therapist is there to facilitate the clients' body healing itself, by meeting the client where they are in their healing process and offering support.  The client's body is the therapists highest teacher.

CranioSacral Therapy can be used to address the following:

Migraines and headaches

Stress and tension-related impairments

Chronic neck & back pain

Motor co-ordination impairments

Brain and spinal cord injuries

Chronic fatique

Fibromyalgia

TMJ syndrome

Scoliosis

Central nervous system disorders

Post traumatic stress disorder
