there is a difference between buying a Keno ticket (at a gas station for example) and in front of a Read Morebig Keno screen staring blankly with your buddies at a bar like you're playing slots in Foxwoods. no problem with the former (except that the Lottery mostly hurts the poor, not helps them) but do have a problem with the latter. besides the American Legion hall (a private club, not really for families), there is currently no place to play live Keno on a screen in Sudbury. Lavender will be the first. Bistro 20 will be the 2nd mark my words. and then Lotus Blossom and Sierra's and Acapulco's and etc. and etc. I'll mind my own business when the people who run the town realize that most people in Sudbury don't want it to become Marlborough. I think that's a pretty safe statement.

With the exception of Natick all the towns around us have Keno in their towns! Some have it inRead Morerest aurants and/or Keno to go. Neon lights....have you driven down Union ave? Sudbury has neon signs and we have for a while. No one is asking for slot machines or a casino.. if major restaurants want to have Keno at their bars why not. " I don't think you'll have to worry about the "poor people" being hurt or Sudburys image, do you drive down Rt. 20 it looks like a small city already. I don't think keno will damn the town! Just a little sidebar note the American Legion is for families we have several veteran families in Sudbury... granted you don't see many young kids in their except for special events, but families are members and they do have a live Keno screen.
