Asian restaurant submitted plans to add the GameStop lot, which will be vacant Aug. 31.
To help compete with other Sudbury restaurants, the owners of Lavender Asian Cuisine & Bar submitted a plan to the Board of Selectmen to expand the business when GameStop vacates the lot later this year. After a brief conversation during its May 21 meeting, the Board unanimously approved the expansion. The plans will increase the size and shape of the bar and allow for a quieter dining experience in the dining area, manager Yee Fong said. "We're trying to increase the bar and compete with other restaurants," Fong explained. "This will created a little more seating for dining services." Chairman Larry O'Brien said his only concern with the plans was in regards to septic capacity, but those concerns were eased by a Board of Health report. "…

My 1 1/2 year old Lab started at Pet Nannies about a month ago. He (and I) absolutely love it! The staff is so attentive and considerate of the dogs. My dog was first brought in for a 1 hour session to see how he interacted with the other dogs. Then he went for a 2 hour session. In both sessions, he was introduced to a few dogs at a time. Middlesex County following trend.
A significant decline in Massachusetts foreclosures during the month of March indicates the foreclosure crisis is over, according to an article in Monday's issue of Banker & Tradesman. In Massachusetts, both the Town of Sudbury and Middlesex County are also seeing drops in activity. In Sudbury, foreclosure petitions dropped from 3 to 1 when comparing the March 2012 report to the March 2013 report. In year-to-date statistics, the number has droped from 9 to 6. When comparting the last two March reports in Middlesex County, the decrease is 79 percent while the year-to-date difference is 54 percent. Lenders filed 284 petitions to foreclose in March, an 82 percent decrease from 1,621 in March 2012, according to data from The Warren Group, …
