Today is July 4, so you are probably out celebrating with fireworks, family and fun. Patch is doing the same, which means there will be no PatchCast today. It will return tomorrow at 6 p.m.

Today is Memorial Day, a day when Americans remember those who died fighting for our country. But, it also means Patch is taking the day off from its daily regional news roundup, PatchCast. Don’t fear though, Patchcast will return tomorrow at 6 p.m.

You’ve no doubt noticed that the Sudbury Patch homepage has undergone some recent changes. We hope you like what you see. We’re excited about the redesign and new features, but there’s still some work to be done during the coming week.While we work on making the site better, PatchCast, your 6 p.m. multimedia roundup of news from the region, is taking a brief – very brief – hiatus. We won’t be posting PatchCast this week, but plan to return at the regular time, weekdays at 6 p.m., beginning next Monday, May 9.In the meantime, keep an eye on the homepage and let us know what you think.
