DESCRIPTION:Bible Study (1 Samuel) \nThe objective of our class is to stu
 dy through a complete book of the Bible. The class operates on a discuss
 ion basis where we all contribute &amp\; grow together. Currently\, they
  are studying 1 Samuel\, which they will complete toward the end of Febr
 uary and will then move on to 1\, 2 &amp\; 3 John.\nBible Study (Topical
  Studies) \nWe study topics raised up from the scriptures in a discussio
 n format.&nbsp\;\nBible Study (Philippians) \nThe class is now "Plumbing
  Philippians". The approach is to look at the book of Philippians in sma
 ll chunks\; to try to understand how what Paul wrote integrates with the
  rest of the Bible. &nbsp\;The goal is to apply the truths in this book 
 to our lives\, so that we can be transformed into being more like Christ
 . &nbsp\;\nSenior Adults Bible Study\nA Bible Study for adults relating 
 to living as believers in&nbsp\;our modern world. February 2012 topics c
 oncern the centrality and sufficiency of Christ for living in a culture 
 that often does not recognize or acknowledge the exclusive claims of the
  gospel on the modern believer's life. The scriptures are from Paul's Le
 tter to the Colossians.&nbsp\;\nYoung Adults Bible Study\nThis class is 
 made up of&nbsp\;married couples and single adults in their mid 20s - 30
 s. The 3-part Sunday morning class time is open and casual and is compri
 sed of a time of fellowship\, followed by a time in which they pray for 
 one another and&nbsp\;study. This fellowship-oriented class also gathers
  frequently outside of church.\nSubjects studied rotate throughout the y
 ear\, the group is currently studying The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy
  Keller who describes his work as drawing "a profound portrait of marria
 ge from the&nbsp\;pages of Scripture that neither idealizes nor rejects 
 the institution but points us back to the relationship between God and m
 an. The result is a vision for&nbsp\;marriage that is refreshingly frank
  and unsentimental\, yet hopeful and beautiful."&nbsp\;&nbsp\;During stu
 dy time this group encourages the input of each member\, which results i
 n lively discussions and meaningful connection.
