Card and Snowflake Collection for Newtown, CT
Goodnow Library, 21 Concord Rd, Sudbury, MA | Get Directions »
FREE
HOPEsudbury will be collecting condolence cards and handmade snowflakes to send to Sandy Hook and Newtown, CT.
We want to show the people there that Sudbury cares about them, and that although bad things happen, there is still good in the world.
When school resumes for Sandy Hook children, it will be in a new building. Parent-volunteers are working to ensure that students are welcomed back by a winter wonderland with the entire school decorated with handmade snowflakes sent in by supporters from across the country.
We welcome cards and snowflakes from everyone in Sudbury: individuals, families, neighborhoods, businesses, clubs, groups, sports teams, scouts.
How to get your cards and snowflakes to us:
- Drop off at the Goodnow Library lobby
- Drop off at the Grange Hall, 326 Concord Road (next to Sudbury Town Hall)
- Mail to: c/o HOPEsudbury 326 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA 01776
- Email to contact@hopesudbury.org.
We will be collecting through January 4.
