LSRHS Connections Presents Chris Herren on Monday, December 10
Chris Herren, a basketball legend from Fall River, Massachusetts, realized his dreams by playing for the Celtics in the NBA, only to lose it all to addiction. Drug-free and alcohol-free since August 1, 2008, Chris has refocused his life to put sobriety and family above all else.
Off the court Chris continues to share his story with audiences in the hopes of reaching just one person and making a difference in their life. His memoir, Basketball Junkie, was released in May of 2011.

More About Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School
Not surprisingly, academic pursuits play an important role in a high school serving two affluent communities. Some 95 percent of all students here go on to college following graduation. Its students score well on SATs and other standardized tests. The roster of activities includes the Asian cultures club, culinary club, ski and snowboarding club, math team and Web club, which illustrates the school's commitment to diversity and innovation.
