Congregation Beth El of Sudbury is pleased to welcome the community to a special Friday evening service. Shabbat Rinah (Shabbat of Joyous Song) is an innovative Friday evening service for people of all ages. Its focus is on music with poetic readings and personal reflections interspersed to enhance the prayer experience and create an atmosphere of delight and inspiration. Led by Beth El’s Cantor Lorel Zar-Kessler and Rabbi David Thomas, all who attend are encouraged to join in joyous and meditative singing accompanied by talented musicians from the congregation.

This is a congregation with a tradition of dedication to learning. Religious study begins with young children and continues with youth and adult discussion groups. The staff, Jewish educators and scholars, are called on to share their insights and wisdom. A companion component of the temple's mission is social activism, seeking social justice for people everywhere.
