This olde town tradition is a sight to behold, for the youngest of young or the oldest of old. The floats are unveiled and the ribbons adorned, the blare of the fire truck sirens and antique car horns. The bands they will march or ride on a float, the kids are on bicycles, rollerblades, scooters or boats. The political players they walk and shake hands. The Militia are coming for all who are fans. Family and Friends, come one, come all. Wave the flag, and have a Ball!!

Details on the “Sudbury Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade”

Start Time: 1:00 PM on July 4, 2012 – Rain or shine!

End Time: Roughly 2:30 PM. Depending on where you sit on the route the parade will take about an hour to pass.

Start Location (full map included below): Corner of Union Ave and Route 20.

End Location: Sudbury Town Hall.

Judging Time: Judging for all floats will begin at noon on July 4th, 2011.

Street Closures: The Sudbury Police Department typically closes the area of the route starting at 12:30 the day of the parade.

Viewing: Spectators are allowed to stand or sit anywhere along the parade route. What is so great about this parade is there really are no bad seats! Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, water bottles and sunscreen!
