  plants is an important activity for the Sudbury Weed Education and Erad
 ication Team. Photographs bring attention to the harm invasive plants do
  to our private\, historic and environmentally sensitive properties. The
 se invading&nbsp\;life forms reduce biodiversity and threaten native tre
 e and plant species which are integral parts of habitats in the Sudbury\
 , Assabet and Concord rivers area in which we live. Please join in and c
 ontrbute photographs for this important effort.\n&nbsp\;To learn about t
 he Sudbury\, Assabet and Concord Rivers&nbsp\;watershed\, visit: www.Sud
 bury_Assabet_Concord.org. There you you learn about the wild and scenic 
 rivers and important activities surrounding the wonders and concerns of 
 these river areas.\nCatagories will be judged separately for: Profession
 al\, Amateur-adult\, kindergarten-grade 5 and teen.&nbsp\;\nPhotographs 
 should pertain to invasive plants by showing\; 1. scenic shots which sho
 w a site in the Sudbury\, Assabet\, Concord watershed being affected by 
 invasive plant species\, 2. detailed close-ups which could be used for e
 ducation and outreach or\, 3. photo collage highlighting creative skills
  using&nbsp\;invasive plant subject(s) and digital software. Kindergarte
 n-grade 5 catagory are not required to use digital tools for a collage. 
 Other photographs&nbsp\; in catagory 3 all contestants have taken&nbsp\;
 may be included.\nImages must show one or more of the species listed by 
 the Massachusetts Dept. of Agricultural Resources. Find the Massachusett
 s Prohibited Plant List\, images and identification information at:\n&nb
 sp\;www. mass.gov/agr/farmproducts/prohibitedplantlist.htm\nPhotographer
 s or their families may contact SWEET to get "tips" to find locations fo
 r invasive plant populations.\nPhotographs will be previewed on Saturday
 \, Sept. 15\, 2012 from 10:30-12:00 or Sunday\, Sept. 23 from 2:00-4:00 
 at Ames Hall\, 26 Concord Road\, Sudbury. Works meeting conditions for t
 he contest must either be framed or core-foam boarded- no styrofoam and&
 nbsp\;have ready to hang hardware.\nAccepted works will be installed at 
 Goodnow Public Library on Nov. 1\, will be judged and ribbons awarded. P
 hotographs will remain displayed through the end of the month.\nThe winn
 ing photographs will be used (with photographer permission and credit) f
 or SWEET educational and outreach projects. There will be a special "Peo
 ples' Choice" Award activity\, so please drop by the library on or after
  Nov. 1&nbsp\;and vote for your favorite!\nA suggested list of species f
 ound in Sudbury and area communities and contest rules iis included with
