Sudbury Senior Center Offers New Classes

Here are 5 things to know in Sudbury.

1. Kick off September with a new class: U.S. History 1912-1950 begins on Sept. 11 at 9:30 a.m.; Spanish Art and Its Origins, with Sudbury's own Dr. Don Oasis, starts on Sept. 25 at 1:30 p.m.; and America and Iraq with Gary Hylander begins on Sept. 16. Reserve your spot now.

Interested in art? Calligraphy with Sue Funk starts on Sept. 18 at 10 a.m.; while Watercolors will begin on Sept. 20 at 1 p.m.

2. Join Miss Victoria on Friday mornings for a summertime treat-themed storytime and fun craft at Goodnow Library at 10:30 a.m. This program is perfect for children ages 2 1/2 and up with their caregivers. Program is held in the Story & Craft Room.

3. Goodnow Library will be closed from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day.

4. In observance of Labor Day, all non-emergency Town offices will be closed Sept. 2. Offices will reopen at their usual times on Sept. 3.
