Sudbury's William Sawyer To Perform With the New York Philharmonic
Here are 5 things to know today in Sudbury.
1. William Sawyer of Sudbury will perform Handel's Messiah with the Westminster Symphonic Choir and the New York Philharmonic conducted by Andrew Manze Dec. 17 through 21, at Lincoln Center in New York.
Sawyer is a student at Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, N.J., where he is a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir.
Composed of students at Westminster, the Westminster Symphonic Choir has recorded and performed with major orchestras under virtually every internationally acclaimed conductor of the past 79 years. Recognized as one of the world's leading choral ensembles, the choir has sung more than 350 performances with the New York Philharmonic alone.

3. In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 41, Section 81T and the Sudbury Planning Board Rules & Regulations Governing the Subdivision of Lan and Article V(F), Section 5.C of the Town of Sudbury Bylaws (Storm.water Management), the Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at 8 p.m. at Town Hall, 322 Concord Road regarding an application submitted by Distinctive Acton Homes, Inc. (Applicant) and Cavooto Sudbury Realty Trust (Owner) for approval of a Definitive Subdivision and Storm.water Management Permit, as shown on a plan entitled ''North Ridge Farm Definitive Subdivision Plan", prepared by Foresite Engineering dated Nov. 1, 2013, proposing a subdivision of approximately 7.46 acres into 6 lots and construction of improvements thereon. Said property is located at 338 North Road (Assessor's Map C09, Parcel 31), and will involve the disturbance of approximately 220,000 sq. ft. oflarid area.Copies of the plan and application are available in the Planning and Community Development Office and may be inspected during regular office hours.
