HOPEsudbury has teamed up with Camp Cody to offer a HOPEful Summer on beautiful Lake Ossippee, NH. Camp Cody has gifted (3) two week camp sessions to the lucky bidder(s) during HOPEsudbury’s on-line auction taking place on January 26th and 27th.
"My children have had such a wonderful experience at Camp Cody and look forward to it every summer. It is located in such a beautiful lake setting, they offer top of the line activities and have attentive, well-trained staff.Camp Cody is truly the perfect over- night camp experience,” says Teresa Quinn, Sudbury mother of four.
HOPEsudbury, founded in 2001, is dedicated to engaging the people of Sudbury in community-wide efforts to provide humanitarian aid to people in need, both at home and abroad.
Christina Granahan, HOPEsudbury board member, said, “Camp Cody felt like such a good fit to us as it is a camp hosting several Sudbury families as well as a camp that engages internationally to bring children together in a shared experience. When they donated these camp sessions, we were thrilled!”All proceeds from this event will go directly to HOPEsudbury which supports The HOPE Fund that provides emergency financial need to Sudbury residents as well as non-profit organizations locally, nationally and globally.
“This is a first for HOPEsudbury but we decided to leverage the momentum from the 12th Annual Summer Camp Fair sponsored by the Loring PTO taking place on January 26th at Lincoln-Sudbury High School and see what became of it. We are so excited to be a part of these different parts of our community coming together,” added Christina.
