OBITUARY - William J. "Bill" Prendergast

62 of Hudson, MA passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 30, 2013.  Beloved husband of Nancy L (Denisevich) Prendergast to whom he was married 34 yrs.  Born in South Boston on December 19, 1950, he was the son of Elizabeth M (Fay) Prendergast and the late William J Prendergast, Jr. of Sudbury, MA.  A resident of Hudson for 33 yrs, formerly of Sudbury where he was raised and educated having graduated in the LSRHS Class of 1968.  He worked for the MBTA from where he retired after 35 yrs.  He then worked 13 yrs. for the Berlin Country Club as Head Grounds Keeper.  Bill was an avid golfer and a member of the Elks Club.  Bill is also survived by his two daughters, Courtney D Prendergast of Hudson, MA and Brittany L (Prendergast) Espinal of Webster, MA.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashlee Thompson, Michael Espinal and Leland Morris.  He leaves behind his brother Ron T Prendergast and his wife Anmarie of Hudson, MA and his sister Karren E (Prendergast) Brunetti and her husband Joseph of Douglas, MA as well as nieces and nephews.  There will be no calling hours or funeral services. A celebration of his life will be held at Berlin Country Club, 25 Carr Rd. Berlin, MA on Saturday - Sept 14th @ 2PM - Family and Friends are welcome.
