Senator Jamie Eldridge and his assistant Michelle Geoffroy serve dinner to guests at Open Table

Open Table was very pleased and proud to have Senator Eldridge and Ms. Geoffroy serve dinner to our guests at our Maynard site in Clock Tower.  Both volunteers and guests were excited to meet Jamie and Michelle.  Some of us wanted to tell them what makes Open Table exceptional, others wanted to ask for the Senator’s help in addressing local concerns as well as in advocating for those who need someone to stand up for their needs and rights.  The great duo served our guests, listened to all our concerns, and hung on to the very end.  They set an example of walking the talk.

“I was delighted to serve dinner and meet volunteers at Open Table,” said Senator Eldridge. “The event was a great opportunity to hear from guests about local issues they are facing and I look forward to attending more events in the future.”
