Hosmer House Hosting Fourth of July Open House

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include homemade pie.

There is plenty happening on the Fourth of July this year in Sudbury. And among the festivities is an open house at a historic location in town.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 4th, the town is welcoming residents inside the Hosmer House.

At the event there will be gently used books, 375th anniversary items, colonial dolls, magnets, ornaments and, sweetest of all, homemade pies. All items will be available for a donation to the Hosmer Fund.

Inside the ballroom will be art created by Joan Meenan, while the parlor will include artwork by Mary Ainsworth. The two artists are each longtime residents of Sudbury.

There will be light refreshments served, with free lemonade and cookies available. Admission to the event is free of cost.
