National Weather Service Says Snow Possible Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Framingham, in anticipation of possible snow in the middle of the week.

This winter's mostly snow-less record may come to an end this Wednesday.

Currently, this is the least snowiest winter on record in the MetroWest area, although a few inches could knock this season easily into the second spot.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook yesterday in anticipation of possible snow this Wednesday for Framingham and much of eastern New England.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a possibility of snow in the region this Wednesday into Thursday as a "series of low pressure systems pass south of New England."

"The amount of snow will depend on the exact track of these systems and if it remains cold enough to support snow," said a release. "At the very least winter weather advisories need to be issued for parts of the area."

Framingham Patch will carry any and all updates related to this possible snow system as more information becomes available.

While I love snow (and used to live in Syracuse, NY), I love the budget savings to the town associated with no snow.

How about on a weekend? Not during the week when we have to get to work.

@Denise - I could compromise with a nice Friday night snowstorm. Kids could play outside all weekend ... If Mother Nature took requests ... here's mine: a foot of the nice fluffy stuff and then 6 months of sunny and 75 degrees days with rain only at night ...

I am ready, I want to ski a bit more but today is so gorgeous it's hard to imagine snowin the forecast. I feel like my heart has already said good bye to the winter that wasn't.

I don't mind skipping the snow every few years (I feel like we paid-it-forward after the constant snow last year), but I must agree that my kids have missed the sledding, snowball fights, etc.
