Parts of Sudbury Still Without Power After Blustery Sunday

NSTAR reports three customers still without power.

UPDATED: 11:25 A.M.

The Sudbury Police Department was kept busy Sunday after dozens of residents called to report downed tree limbs and power lines due to the windy conditions.

Sustained winds of 20-30 mph, with higher gusts, caused power outages to numerous neighborhoods, as hundreds of customers were in the dark as temperatures plummeted to the low teens.

Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady said there were no reports of injuries as of Monday morning.

"We received many calls in the Mossman Road area," he said. "It kept up busy."

According to the NSTAR power outage map, there were still three customers without power as of 11 a.m. on Monday. NSTAR services 6,870 customers in Sudbury.

"Though it's difficult to say exactly when each will be taken care of," NSTAR spokesman Michael Durand said, "all three are dispatched to crews."
