Restoration Project Receives $5K Grant from Foundation for MetroWest Youth Program

Grant will help with hiring career counselor/job developer for program.

Restoration Project, a nonprofit vocational program for adolescents and adults with emotional disorders and brain injuries, is pleased to announce the award of $5,000 for the expansion of services from the Foundation for MetroWest’s Youth in Philanthropy program.

The Youth in Philanthropy grant will enable Restoration Project to hire a career counselor / job developer to enhance our participants’ abilities to identify the careers best suited for them, and to find and keep employment in their chosen fields.

Restoration Project is an award-winning, nonprofit vocational rehabilitation program. The organization teaches traditional methods of furniture restoration to adults with mental illness, head injuries, and at-risk adolescents.
