When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m. at Family Garden & Market (593 Boston Post Road, Sudbury)

The Buzz: Tired of that same old tired wreath? Dress it up, or start with a new one altogether during this wreath decorating opportunity. Your kids can enjoy a holiday craft and you will enjoy the lovely new decoration around your house this holiday.

When/Where: Sunday, 11 a.m., at 77 Powdermill Road, Acton.

The Buzz: Unique gifts are always the goal and often tough to find. Try this art exhibition where you can pick up truly unique, even one-of-a-kind items for the tough-to-shop-for person on your list.

When/Where: Friday, 10 a.m.-noon at Russell's Garden Center (397 Boston Post Road, Wayland).

The Buzz: In case you hadn't heard, Christmas is right around the corner and Santa arrives in Wayland on Nov. 23. Bring your wish list and your camera for a free photo op with the Jolly Old St. Nicholas.

Price: Free

Wayland Hockey Association Annual Alumni Hockey Game

When/Where: Friday, 7:30 p.m. at The Rivers School (333 Winter Street, Weston)

The Buzz: This annual fundraiser supports the Wayland-Weston Hockey Association and promises to be a fun time for all.

Price: $30

Polar Express Train Ride

When/Where: Nov. 23-25, with multiple departure times. Trains depart from both the Buzzard's Bay Train Depot and the Hyannis Depot.

The Buzz: This is your family's chance to ride the "real" Polar Express as licensed by Warner Bros. The 75 minute journey involves a Santa encounter, hot chocolate cookies and is basically guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit.

Price: Coach: $29 adults, $19 children (ages 2-12), Free for children under 2 if riding on an adult’s lap. First Class: $59 adults, $49 children, $10 for children under 2 if riding on an adult’s lap, Includes keepsake Polar Express Mug.
