The past three weeks have seen one snowstorm after another barrel up the east coast and dump more snow onto the area.

Plowing snow is often a thankless job. There is rarely praise, but there are few things that raise a person’s ire more than snow-covered streets days after a snowstorm has passed.

With us now deep into February and after three weeks of snowstorms, we want to know: How would you rate Sudbury's snow removal this winter?

How has the town done this winter? What have been your experiences? Where are the areas in town that may still need work?

Let us know in the comments section below. Give your praise, voice your concern and let the town know what you think about snow plowing this winter.

I have found the plowing to be excellent. However, my view might be skewed somewhat because I have been using almost only main streets. Judy Deutsch

Sudbury does a great job, especially compared to the surrounding towns. On major roads you can see clearly when you go from one town to the next. On the small roads (ok...mine) they are too conservative around mailboxes. There is a pile a good four feet from the side of the road making the mailbox inaccessible. We are now down to a one lane road.

Tuesday, they took out a row of mail boxes on my street, I've initiated a damage claim. Was told they won't be available to look at it until next week.

Moore Road is a narrow street but excellent plowing has kept it as wide as possible. Kudos!

Town plowing is fine. Some private contractor in a red pick up is plowing up onto property lines and doing a lot of damage. He goes way up onto the grass without lifting his plow and damages the trees as well as taking up huge swathes of top soil.
